In both the Mets' and "Boulevardiers' " games, the winning team's score was divisible by 3 from the losing team's score. Think about that.

Misery indeed loves company.....

Like the "Boulevardiers", the Mets were CRUSHED earlier.

Both "Noo Yawk" teams are in sad shape, without a doubt.........let's end the 2026 season now, and end the misery..... Sad

And the "AYF's" once more can't "rub it in," given that both the "Boulevardiers" AND the Mets were SHELLACKED by their respective opponents.

Misery loves company.......

The much-nattered Mets were also CLOBBERED last evening. Sad

Between the ignorance, arrogance, and total lassitude, both one-proud "Noo Yawk" teams are now nothing more than a pathetic joke...... Sad

THIS is SCARY...........

Last evening, one of the thunderstorms that(again) blew through the area toppled a tree which came down and shattered the cab window of an IRT train, near the 161st Street/Yankee Stadium station.........some sort of none-too-subtle "sign" from the "Big Man" upstairs Question Question

A coincidence?

Perhaps................ Shocked

Looks like that tree that took a swipe at that IRT train at 161st Street/Yankee Stadium last night MIGHT have been an ominous "sign" from up above..........Shocked

"Da Braves" gave the Mets a scare, but the "Amazin's" still managed to win in a "squeaker" at the end. Yep, combined with that tree attack at 161st, definitely far-from-gruntled "AYF's" filing out of the "SINO" on the #4 and D trains, "coycing" the g-ds. (The latter of which - the D - are beginning to run R-211A's - only a matter of time before the "Brighton Belle" R-68's currently holding down that line are moved elsewhere.)

W,B.:

Indeed, that tree that swiped that IRT train near the "SINO" up in "da Bronx" was a SURE sign that someone "upstairs" ain't too happy with the current state of things. Sad

If even a few "Brighton Belles" can make it at least until 2028, ghey'd be ready to match that of the hulking "Artens", in terms of service years (40)...........

Further:

With the Mets, it looked like a "sure fire" win, but turned into a real "white knuckle" game towards the end, but the Mets STILL won! Very Happy

John Chandler (4) at 6...........

Astute observation........

Latest "nooze" bits.....

"....whatever has been ailing the Mets this season seems to have rubbed off on the Yankees....."

".....both teams have now, as of late, dropped more games than they have won......."

With the "Boulevardiers", you KNOW it's pretty dang bad when skipper Aaron Boone flatly admits that his team "s***s".Sad

Pretty pathetic, all around...........
