Interesting article about Alexander Dennis, a maker associated with sightseeing buses in The Big Apple, but a transit bus maker in many parts of the world:

Thanks here, too. Enjoyed. I am somewhat confused by Alexander Dennis buses....are they integral or are they body on chassis? I had read somewhere that they are the latter.... |

Confusing indeed TD. According to Wikipedia, the Enviro300 was the first Dennis bus of integral design. Then it goes on about the "new style" Enviro300 stating that some have been built on MAN, Volvo and Scania chassis and another transit agency had a different coach builder put their body on a Dennis chassis. |
