I heard that they lowered all the pull cords on the 10xx's at Inter County, the pull cords now run along the bottom of the windows. Some of the 10xx's at Suffolk Bus have had the pull cords lowered as well.

Also 5029 is said to have had all the seats in the back replaced with seats that look to have come off a 96xx.

if anything were to be wrong with the turbo you'd most likely see thick heavy black smoke....what you're saying is very possible but in my experience anything to do with a turbo most always = BLACK SMOKE haha

When 9910's turbo blew, it was blowing white smoke according to a friend who rode 9910 and got off right before it finally went and took a video of it.

Black smoke? Um yeah if the turbo goes bad. If a pressurized air intercooler system has a small leak, its usually going to hiss, whistle, etc. I am a bit confused on your "haha" part. From my experience, which if your age listed is correct, you were thinking of starting junior high when I started fixing buses, its the same on cars your sending down a track at 150mph. If you would like to teach me turbo chargers or super charger, sad news for you, your at least 15 years late.

When did Gillig #2001 go back to CBS? Before or after that fire at A.D.D.

After the fire at ADD from what I can tell.

Seen 5014 going down the road today. I do not know if it was in service or not, only caught the back of the bus.

I guess it would depend on what road you saw it on.

More than likely that was why #2001 went back to CBS to replace #2003. Thus giving Sunrise #5054 in return.

Does this shuffling of buses have anything to do with the fire at ADD this week?

Not unless it was a 2000 bus that was burned in that fire, maybe someone got wise and wondered why they replaced 9609 with a Suburban, since 2001 was sent to Sunrise to replace 9609 because 9609 was destroyed by fire sometime before 9604-9608 was transferred to there.

I'll make the update

Then "Hart Bus" was correct! #2001 went back to CBS and Sunrise got #5054 in return. Good call "Hart Bus"! I knew a swap like that would not happen unless there was a valid reason.
