I don't see why they don't keep them on the road, and just paint them into newer color. We could really use additional buses here in New Haven, there are some routes that really need more service. The B bus, for an example. There are supposed to be buses every 10 minutes. CTTransit should try getting buses every 5 minutes at times. Who knows, might not even make a difference, some buses don't show up. I've waited for an hour for a B bus that should have came every 10 minutes one afternoon. |
Wow. I feel you. The 40/42-North Main St lines are the worst when comes catching a bus. No buses for 45 minutes and then they bunch up with 3 buses, in which there are 2 40 buses or 42 buses heading to the same destination, one packed while the other is empty. |
come on 45min really i drive on this rute and yea we may be 20 25min late but not 45 give me a break, i mean make the math if they run every 10min and are running 45min late then they would be 5 o 6 buses at ones not 3 and i dont think so that has never happen
i dont mean to heat you up but this stament is really not true |
Sorry for the exaggeration, but between crowded Park St. and late buses, bus bunching is a frequent problem during midday and PM rush hour. Plus, I've seen many times that drivers were running so late that they discharge passengers to the other bus, just so they can turn around and head back downtown to keep up with the pace. To be honest, CT Transit should stop running buses down Park between Main and Pope Park Drive. It's the worst when it comes to traffic. |

Personally, I feel the city wasted money to "revitalize" Park Street, when roads like Farmington, Albany, and Wethersfield Aves go unnotice. And they say Mayor Perez is not corrupted. But this is a whole 'nother discussion. |

Personally, 31 should interline with the 37 or 63A at CharterOak Marketplace and 33 interline with S or O and continue to New Britain. That is just the I would set up service. |

Makes no sense to have 6 hybrids and 2 or 4 diesels. They should just split the hybrids between all 3 divisions. |

1001-1004 are test buses for hydrogen fuel cell technology. The 9600s wont be replaced by them. However, they will be replaced by Novabus LFSA. Yes, they will be articulated and be replaced on a 1 by 1 replacement. |
