During the Fair, the TA ran at least one route, possibly two, from Brooklyn to the World's Fair. Does anyone here know what route these buses took to reach the World's Fair? Were there routes from other boroughs to the Fair also? |

Looking through a World's Fair Guide I was given to by an uncle many years ago, the following is mentioned about bus transportation:
NYCTA routes:
Q44WF from West Farms Square, Bronx and from 165 St., Jamaica every 30 minutes. Fare, 15 cents.
Q48 from LaGuardia Airport stops at the Fair, 15 cents fare.
B58 runs every 20 minutes, 15 cents fare.
B80 express from Flatbush & Nostrand every 20 minutes from 9 AM-10:40PM making stops at Rockaway Pky. & Glenwood Rd., 25 cents fare.
B81 express from East New York IND subway station (Bway Junction)every 20 minutes from 9:30 AM-11:30 PM, 25 cents fare.
Green Bus Lines routes:
Special buses from Queens & Woodhaven Blvds. and from Queens Blvd. & Kew Gardens Rd. Also Green Bus runs a bus from the Archer Ave. terminal in Jamaica, 15 cents fare.
Triboro Coach Astoria Blvd. and LaGuardia Airport lines extended to the Fair.
Queens Transit College Point- Jamaica and Woodside-Flushing lines make stops at the Fair, 15 cents fare.
Gray Line also makes stops in Manhattan to the Fair for $1. |

B53RICH,
Green Line's special service to the 64/65 World's Fair pretty much mirrored the service that they provided for the 39/40 exposition.
In fact, 35 1939 and 1940 Macks were purchased with special livery for just this purpose - one of which is pictured below (notice the official World's Fair Trylon and Perishpere logos).

What route used the special "World's Fair" destination sign pictured below, the Q44WF?
