Hawaii Five O episode #3 in season #1 entitled Tiger By The Tail is a must see for all of you 'Old Look' fans out there.

Aired originally on October 10th. 1968 and guest starring Sal Mineo, Tiger By The Tail is about a young singer (played by Mineo) who with two cohorts plots his own kidnapping to extract money from his estranged hotel magnate father.

To make a long story short (something I usually have difficulty doing!), one of the alleged kidnappers finds it necessary to travel somewhere by bus.

The segment is about two minutes in length and begins with an 'Old Look' frontal view pulling up to a bus stop. The width of the front end tells me that it's either a 5103 or 5105 and the livery is Honolulu yellow and white.

The next scene takes place on the bus with fantastic views of the front entry (windshield, dashboard, destination sign area including Thermo-Matic housing).

The rest of the interior is shown clearly as the actor moves toward the rear for a seat.

This is definately required viewing and may already be available on DVD.

Of course, no Hawaii Five O episode would be complete without a 'Book em Danno' at the end and this has one!

Don't miss it!

Regards from your roving TV critic.

The new Fox legal drama Canterbury's Law is set in Providence. Filming of the initial episodes was done in New York City, but some incidental footage was filmed in Providence. Last Friday's episode included a downtown scene in which the rear of a RIPTA Orion V on route 27 passes the camera and an RTS is seen the background.
