I sure wish Mom was here, to enjoy this video; as she remembered these cars as a girl, visiting her grandparents in Hanover, she would have seen much she remembered!

Too bad Mom isn't around to reminisce and possibly add to what was said.
This popped up in my YouTube feed without even looking for it. I suppose my viewing of the Laurel Line video recently had something to do with it. Anyway, thought I should share. |

Mom recalled her relatives riding the cars out to San Soui Amusement Park for picnics; the park was originally owned by the DL&W.
When the folks were taking the streetcar to Wilkes-Barre, they would say: "We're going into town."
On an interesting note, W-BRys ordered six center-entrance cars from BRILL,
These big cars were only operated during the rush hours; all were destroyed in a 1934 carbarn fire..........
