#1001 poses for the photographer at an unknown location on a long-ago day; a Peter Witt can just be glimpsed in the right background......

Flatbush & Church, on a long-ago snowy day, so much like an old-fashioned Christmas card setting.......

CLARK-built 1000, seen here running on the #68; the CLARK design was functional but handsome...... Very Happy

Another view of #1000, here laying over at the 16th Avenue/McDonald loop; note the gutted interlocking tower on the right.....

#1052, running on the #59, is seen leaving the Brooklyn Bridge, after the BMT elevated trains had been discontinued.

Though PCC's crossed the Brooklyn Bridge for many years in revenue service, the only time PCC's crossed the "Willy B" (terminating at the underground Delancey St. terminal in Manhattan) was when they were running on fan trips.......

Post-1944, #1000 is here passing through the former site of the massive BMT elevated complex at Sands Street; as was noted earlier, once the elevated trains were discontinued, the streetcars were shifted over to the former El tracks on the Brooklyn Bridge......

Most streetcar loops featured VERY tight curves, as can clearly be seen here, at the 1st Avenue loop........

Here's an interesting private ROW photo; note the "Standards" on the elevated above the streetcar tracks; also, the ancient open-gate El car that has been converted into a work car.......
