What make/model of bus is this? It's probably from the early 1940's.

Just a guess...not sure, but it resembles some Ford Transit buses of that era...

Fellows:

Indeed, that is a FORD.

Into the mid-1950's, PSNJ rostered a number of FORDS, mostly used on the more lightly-traveled lines.

Most were scrapped, but some were sold to several Hudson County-area "indy" companies, upon disposal by PS.

PS drivers were not fond of them during the winter, as their heating was inadequate, and the driver's area was always cold during the winter months.......
