On that, both the front and side roll signs were original to the 1964-65 bus order of which #5334 was but a part. |

That run number clearly reads '52'. That's why that other bus pic from the same location in the same year, I was wondering if it was a 'B' in the third character . . . |

W.B.:
Interesting rollsign information, as always.
It is also interesting to learn the "heritage" of the curtain themselves; did the bus retain original curtains until being replaced with all-new curtains, or, were their curtains replaced with curtains that came from other buses.
As I've learned from both you and MabSTOA 15, the area of rollsigns is indeed an "in depth" study unto itself (albiet quite complex!)

Jay & Myrtle, 1972*.......

Note #7048's overall "road weary" look, and that tape has been applied to the emergency door window.
The remaining Old Looks were indeed on borrowed timed, when this photo was snapped.....

Broadway & 49th, 1981.......

(A LOT of "street nostalgia here; also note a "bison" just barely visible towards the rear) |

Adams & Fulton (undated)*.......

*Flex #7121 seems to be a bit scruffy-looking in this view (late 70's/early80's?) |

Fulton St. landing, 1981.
This "portrait" is both timeless and poignant, both the GRUMMANS and the mighty Twin Towers, seen towering above the East River, have since passed into history......
