The photo was taken on Court Street in downtown Binghamton looking east, in the vicinity of Hawley Street. I believe the store to the left is the current Boscov's store. Several Broome County Transit routes continue to make this stop each day. |

I guess it is safe to say that the GM's and ACF-BRILLS's have been gone for quite awhile.....
A timeless image of transit operations past, forever frozen in time.....

Yep!
That old "bird" is every much a classic as the vintage buses seen in that old postcard view!
Times truly have changed in 50-plus years......TOO MUCH, if you ask me!
