All:
I've tried finding a photo of this truly wierd-looking, vintage Paris sightseeing/tour bus, but, to no avail.
It is very briefly seen just before the end of the opening credits for "BOEING, BOEING", a 1965 comedy (set in Paris), starring Tony Curtis and Jerry Lewis.
It's truly difficult to describe this MOST unusual coach, so, bear with me!
I have a copy of this flick on a VHS tape, which, of course, I've misplaced for several months.......certainly not helping things!
This bus appeared quite modern for the day (1965) and was some sort of a double-decker/bilevel touring coach.
What made this bus so highly unusual is that it had it also appeared that this bus had tail fins of sorts(!!), extending into a metal "band" that climbed up and over the top of the second level! (remember, I have not seen this film in quite some time!)
The upper "observation area" of the coach resembled a aerial cable tram car!
Anyone else recall this truly eye-catching (and bizarre!) Euro coach?
Thanks!
