Frankie,
Great photo and another one to add to our collection.
I always thought that Schenck had the best livery of all - the combination of black for the window belt (which was always very elegant) and the red and gray below just made something that was a delight to look at.
Thanks for sharing.

Say Mr. Linsky, can you repeat that again? LOL!
Another great spot back in my Mineola days to see these buses were at Mineola's Third Street curb side terminal just south of the railroad station which served both Schenck and Hempstead buses. Great variety of Schenck GM's and Hempstead Macks to observe!

Frankie - I sent a PM to the webmaster about this repeatition. He is a Sabbath Observer, so hopefully today (Sunday) or tomorrow when he logs on the situation will be corrected. |

ECA & Frankie,
I almost immediately notified Michael of the problem which occurred the other night.
It was some kind of Error Code and said that I had to register in order to post.
Figuring that it was a site problem, I again tried several times during the evening to post never figuring that the site would maintain the attempted entries and post them upon repair.
I tried to remove four of the five without success because the usual 'delete' option for some reason was not available.
Anyway, that's the story and hopefully it should be straightened out shortly.
Regards,
WCA/Mr. 'L' |

Funny thing just happened in attempting to enter the above post just now;
I received the following;
Thank you for registering! You will receive an e-mail when your account is activated. ::
DEBUG MODE
Line : 234
File : emailer.php
The same as the other night which leads me to believe that there may be a problem with this thread because I'm able to post elsewhere on the board normally.
We'll see.

I get the same message even though your posting will post. However you won't get the message if you edit the post! Strange.
If the message pops up again, just x off or go back to the original post and refresh. Your posting will be there.
Hopefully the powers to be will remedy this.
