Thet two City Subway PCCs which TNJ sold to Cleveland in the 7i0s for the "Shaker", when theywere finally retired, had operated on three properties:
TCRT
PSNJ (City Subway)
Cleveland (Shaker Heights)

Recall, also, that it is interesting that, among the PCCs, there were "air cars" and "all electrics"; the Newark City Subway's ex-TCRT cars were "all electric".
Philadelphia, back in the day, rostered a large number of each type.....

Funny you mentioned the Russian Old Look buses/trolleybuses; I've read that the Russians (through agreement with GM) copied the YELLOW Old Look design blatantly (even more ironic, their red-and-cream paint invoked MORE than a passing nod to New York's "SURFACE" buses)........

Further:
The Russian Old Looks were designated "ZIS-154".
These familiar-looking buses were known as "lightning buses", due to their quick acceleration and speed.
In 1976, these coaches were honored on a Russian postage stamp.....

The vintage Moscow Metro cars seen here (since retired) were the systems first postwar rolling stock.
To this day, rumors still abound that these sleel cars were built using "stolen" techology used in the building of the 1948 IRT "R-12" cars.................
