This 2000 movie was filmed in Brooklyn and Queens. It stars Armand Assante as the retired leader of an oldies group "Vinnie and the Dreamers" who get together for a reunion show.

Several scenes were filmed at the PATRINA diner which is at 1835 Emmons Avenue, under the Brighton Q train's Brighton Beach or Ocean Parkway stop.

A RTS bus with the PA prefix is in the background. Since Armand only has a old Plymouth (with the fins) to show for his work and doesn't own another car, he takes public transportation.

He is riding that bus and is standing. A black man in the back is singing "The Wisdom of a Fool". Turns out, to you oldies fans, that black man is Cleveland Stills, founder and current lead singer of The Dubs.

Thanks to the webmaster for the loan of the DVD.
