Here are my thoughts from a quick glance at their website.

1 - They need 8 buses a day to cover the schedule.

2 - Might be a great idea if you live in Glen Cove and work on East 34th Street. Considering how slow the Oyster Bay Branch of the LIRR is and that you then have to go cross-town, the bus might beat out the LIRR. Could improve ridership on the Wall Street run, if some of the Wall street stops are eliminated and one or two on Second Avenue are added.

3 - Who the hell are these people and whose buses are they using? I will defer to Mr. Linsky's knowledge and experience in the charter business, but it seems that this outfit is a charter or tour company and sub-contracts for buses.

4 - Why don't they have a street address on their website? The only way to contact these people are by e-mail or an 888 toll free number.

Comments anyone ?

I can help you out with number 3 and number 4 from my knowledge and past experiences with the operating entity, which is World Wide Tours. They are a service firm that started out primarily as a charter/wet-lease company for groups and casino line-run services to Atlantic City and Mohegan Sun to cover the SGS Travelscope casino line-run network in South Brooklyn and the Golden Global and Sunflower sub-contracts for Mohegan Sun from Flushing and Chinatown and the Lower East Side in Manhattan respectively. Back around 2002/2003, they partnered up with DC Trails in Virginia under a pooled sub-contract agreement to operate the Vamoose curbside-shuttle service from NY-Penn Station to DC (now to Bethesda,MD and Arlington,VA). Their service offerings have expanded to this venture which was created under a brand image to reflect the service base of commuters.

I think this company may be affiliated with NYAS, Private Transportation and City Sights NY.

According to a few sources that I know of and trust, yes they are a brand of the NYAS family - which is operated under the entity of United Bus LLC out of Brooklyn, with the City Sights and Airlink NY facility in Long Island CIty, Queens.
