Baseball "nooze" ("foist" edition):
Well, the "Boulevardiers" had their game tonight rained out, they'll make it up in August.
Let's hope that there's no inclement weather out in "Sandy-Yaygo" where the Mets are out to play the "Pah-drays" . . . |

Final Saturday "baseball nooze" . . .
Even though the "Boulevardiers" were rained out, the "AYF's" still had their claws out and their fangs sharpened - as the Mets lost to the "Pah-drays" in a 'squeaker.' |

Sports "nooze" . . .
The Mets were off, but 'AYF's' are still out for blood as their "Boulevardiers" won yet again . . .
. . . but apparently the security around "da Garden" was too much for the "A.G.," given that the "Ka-nicker-bockers" lost Game 3 of the "En-Bee-Yay" finals. |

W.B.:
Indeed, any are saying that itwas no coincidence whatsoever that the "Kan-ikkrt-bokkers 13 game winning streak ended when a certain "guest of honor" announced he was attending the game.
I've heard MORE than a few Knicks fans on the news who have been VERY vocal about just why the "Kan-ikker-bockrts lost last night.
That the huge watch party outside "MSG" was also cancelled did not help the mood at all..............

I was thinking more in terms of a certain "Mayor" who hugged Mr. and Mrs. Met at the clubhouse at Citi Field a few games into the new season - and the Mets have largely been mired in last place ever since. That was no coincidence, neither.
But I never used "MSG" to describe the place, as the initials as I've understood it have stood for a certain food additive that, I'm told, ain't good for ya': monosodium glutamate. |

Ahhhh, I had totally forgotten that "Hizzoner" was also at last night's game......seems he does not bring the best luck to a "Noo Yawk" team, for whatever reason.
Let's hope Wedneday's game has the "Kan-ikker-bokkers" again hitting their stride........

In basketball, the game's still going on, but apparently the "animated Globetrotters" haven't been able to get through all the "securitity" (per Benny Hill's Fred Scuttle) at "da Garden," as "doze Ka-nicker-bockers" are losing mightily again to "da Spurs." That, or the "Coyce of Hizzoner" that keeps plaguing the Mets.
And in baseball . . . "lather, rinse, repeat." Meaning - "doze Boulevardiers" crushed "Kleave-land" again, whilst the "AINO's" have just been crushed by "Saint Loo-ie" - again.
To quote a line in Airplane - no doubt some feel Howie Rose picked the wrong season to retire. |

W.B.:
The "Em-Ems"("The Miserable Mets)" are now suffering from a toxic combination of poor management, inept players, and a malicious "coyce" that just ain't leaving them alone (NO happy Mets fans aboard the #7 trains.....again)
With each fresh victory, the "AYF" brigade are further sharpening their fangs, as their swollen heads grow to even bigger proportions); I SHUDDER to think what the few "Em-Em" fans down on "The Street" (where Your's Truly once "woiked") must be enduring at the hands of the dominant "AYF" contingent.....CANNOT be pretty, I'm sure.
The formerly-unstoppable 'Kan-ikker-bockers" suddenly went into "BIE" mode on Monday;that, and a "jinx" they obviously got his with on that same night.....well,mode let's just say that the Spurs fans must now be loving "sweet revenge", as the "animated Globetrotterse." have obviously been denied access to "The Garden" again.
The collective mood at all the Knicks' ''watch parties" about town must be anything but jovial, right now......
