"AINO" update for Saturday........
Today's game at Citi Field has been postponed due to heavy rain forecast for this afternoon; they will play a single-admission double-header tomorrow.
And may luck be with them.......

Speaking of luck, the "Ka-nicker-bockers" had all the luck in the world last night, typing their NBA playoff series two games apiece. And decisively, too. Evidently the animated "Globetrotters" were able to make it to Atlanta . . .
Of course, "doze tin men from da Bronx" shellacked the opposing team yesterday, giving "AYF's" yet another trip to the fang sharpener's. |

"Hoid" about the "Kan-ikker-bokkers" last night.......fans are on the edge of their seats, for "soitan".
As far "doze arrogant 'YINOs' up in da Bronx", the word "egotistical" quickly comes to mind, regarding both team and fans.
As to the "AINOs"......they'll need ALL the help they can get, especially as they are playing a double-header today........

"Noo Yawk" baseball "nooze" for Sunday.........
Well, seeing as the ever-jinxed "AINOs" weren't even on the scoreboard earlier, (to add insult to injury, they lost BOTH games in the double header they played earlier) the ever arrogant "YINOs" also LOST, there's no lording it over the "disgustipated" and out-of-patience Mets fans.
From the obscene salaries these mugs make, they should be winning at least 95% of their games.....what a shameless sham.......

"MEET THE MESS"
This was sportscaster Ryan Field's "header" on Eyewitness News at 6 PM; he then displayed a sobering chart showing the number of times (and there MORE than a few!) that the "AINOs" have been swept (and shut out) this season......was NOT at all flattering.
Currently, the "AINOs" have the WORST standing in pro baseball...............

| And to add to their troubles, the "YINO's" won yesterday . . . with the "AYF's" now really out for blood . . . |

W.B,:
I indeed SHUDDER to think, where Your's Truly worked down on "da Street" (almost 100% "AYF") what the situation would be like today, with the "AYF" brigade, literally, OUT FOR BLOOD, looking to massacre ANY and ALL Mets fans.
I am not joking when I say that most Mets fans that I worked with were "closeted".....and with good reason.
So much for "good sportsmanship".......

Meanwhile, there is word that, on Monday, some obnoxious 'AYF's' actually took a licking from fans of the opposing team the other day - literally:
https://www.breitbart.com/sports/2026/04/28/watch-yankees-fan-beaten-by-rangers-fans-girlfriend-thrown-down-steps/
This is not necessarily going to deter 'AYF's' the next time, though . . .
But it's nice to see that the Mets' opponents weren't even on the scoreboard . . .
Oh, and apparently the animated "Globetrotters" were once again able to make it to the Garden without touching off Dolan's security detail, as the "Ka-nicker-bockers" now lead their "En-Bee-Yay" playoff round 3 games to 2. |

Nowadays, "Noo Yawk" sports has had more (not so subtle!) ups and downs than the historic "ANGEL'S FLIGHT" funicular in "El-Ay"!
Indeed glad that the "AINOs" opposing team wasn't even on the scoreboard, and that the "animated Flobetrotters" were on hand to save the day for the "Kan-ikker-bockers"............

"Noo Yawk" baseball "nooze" for Wednesday (early edition)....
Well, those arrogant "YINOs" from "da Bronx" were NOT EVEN on the scoreboard today, and fell to the Rangers!!!!!
Mets fans must be LOVING this!
Now....let's see how the Mets do, later this evening......

What Mets' fans won't do is rub it in "AYF's" faces - unlike the other way around. They'll quietly absorb it with a grin reminiscent of Mr. Met himself. |

Guess last night's Met's blowout WAS indeed a MAJOR fluke, after all.........
The "AINO'S victory of last night was indeed NOT repeated this evening, as they were STEAMROLLED by the Nationals.
For those who thought that last night's victory was the start of a multi-game winning streak......well, all i can say is, your hopes were DASHED.....and dashed QUICKLY!
Personally, I'm all for ended the 2026 season right now..........
