Am curious as to where (and if) retired (and surviving) GREYHOUND/TRAILWAYS drivers come together (online) to "shoot the breeze" and exchange experiences and memories of their many years behind the wheels of such classic buses as SCENICRUISERS/EAGLES/4104s/4106s/"classic era" MCIs.
With each passing year, we lose more and more of these hardworking 'Veterans Of The American Highways", and, once they "retire" to that big bus garage in the Great Beyond, we also lose their stories, reminisces, and intriguing tales of "life on the highways", as it was in their long-ago heydays......these colorful yarns are indeed then lost to the ages.
Sadly, we've already lost the vast majority of such proud, stalwart, colorful fellows.......along with the vast majority of the now-classic coaches they once piloted for so many years..............

If you search on facebook groups, you might find some. I personally do not participate in FB, due to issues I have with their privacy policies. |

Like yourself, I have no desire (for many valid reasons) to "dabble" with Facebook; I've heard of far too many horror stories........NOT for me.
Too bad there is not a forum online like BusTalk, where not only retired GREYHOUND and TRAILWAYS men could get together and communicate amongst themselves, but, also, with hobbyists, enthusiasts, etc who simply wish to hear "first hand" the many interesting experiences and travels of the "old timers", indeed now a fast vanishing breed............
