Here are 15 questions related to past and present NYCT bus depots:
1.) Originally a carbarn, then converted into a bus depot in 1947, only to close in 2003
2.) Only NYCT bus depot built on unimproved land
3.) Replaced a bus depot that originally had been a taxi garage
4.) Built on a site that originally had been served by small steam locomotives
5.) First bus depot completely designed by NYCT engineers
6.) Has a fleet consisting of only one bus model
7.) Sits adjacent to the LIRR
8.) Originally had been a warehouse for Woolworth’s
9.) Has the largest NYCT bus fleet
10.) Described as “a single facility under 3 separate roofs”
