Anyone have the slightest idea of what has happened to "traildriver", a poster whose outstanding knowledge of bygone intercity bus operations is light-years beyond impressive?
He was always quick and more than happy to post responses in my topics, always providing a tremendous wealth of information (and often great photos!)
"traildriver" (literally) dropped out of sight well over a month ago; he has not been on the board in ages.
Does anyone here have any clue as to his wherabouts these days?
I certainly hope he has not had any serious health issues; he's a great fellow, and I truly miss his enthusiastic participation in my many topics.
Appreciate any info................thank you in advance............

None, but we are all getting old. Hopefully he'll be back. |

I also sincerely hope so; he's a most interesting and knowledgeable fellow.
I, myself, pushing 68; I know that traildriver must be at least 10-15 years older than myself.
The wealth of knowledge he has so generously shared in my many intercity bus topics over the years is beyond compare; this fellow easily could write a book on his many years in the intercity bus sector!
Let's hope he'll rejoin us sometime soon!

What was it that Mark Twain said?
" the reports of my demise, have been greatly exaggerated"
I just returned home from a 51 day cruise. For some reason, I could not make posts on this website from my phone, even though I could on other sites...
Thanks for everyone's concern and kind words... |

"AHOY, MATE!"
VERY happy (and relieved!) to have you back amongst us here!
You (and your always fascinating, thorough, detailed input!) have SORELY been missed!
BTW:
If you get a moment, it would be great if you could fill us in on the details of your lengthy cruise experiences (especially what ship you are on!) in my "Cruise Ship" topic on the "Other Modes" board....I am sure I would NOT be the ONLY one interested!
Again, welcome "home"!

traildriver ("MIA"again)?
Haven't seen nor heard anything from our always highly-knowledgeable friend "traildriver" in over a month now; sure hope he is OK, and will be rejoining us soon.......he indeed adds so much depth and fascinating historical highway coach information to ANY bus topic, and we, indeed, are the richer for it!

Man, NO GRASS (or breakers!) grow under YOUR feet, for sure!
What ship were you on?
Anything of particular interest?
Anyway, glad you had a nice voyage!

Had a great cruise thru the Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence Seaway aboard Pearl Seas Cruises, "Pearl Mist" from Milwaukee to Quebec City. Then the Holland America, "Volendam" from Montreal back home to Fort Lauderdale.
Also rode many trains, planes, and buses on the long vacation.... |

Welcome back, traildriver! Better let us know when you're leaving so we don't think the worst has happened! |

A WISE suggestion, to be sure!
ALWAYS refreshing (and, indeed a relief!) when "traildriver" returns after a lengthy spell, to join us here once more, and greatly enlighten us with not only details of his many travels, but also, his vast "hands on" knowledge and recollections of the highway coach industry, back in the day!
