Thanks for providing this link; indeed, the news is not good.
Though I hate to think of the United States WITHOUT Greyhound (back in the day, could ANY of us every forsee a time where "America's Favorite Bus Line" would be facing extinction?) it seems as though the "Dusk Of The Hound" is near at hand.
To be be perfectly honest, for the past couple of decades, I have heard more and more that, indeed, MORE than hinted that the demise of GREYHOUND night one day become a reality.
AMTRAK has always been riding rough rails since its beginning in 1971; deregulation has indeed affected the airlines (and the trucking industry), not to mention intercity bus travel..
GREYHOUND (on life support for far too long, now), sadly, is but a mere shadow of its former self, today, in 2020........
