From the Sandtoft Trolley Bus Museum in Great Britain:
This rare, eye-catching vehicle is certainly NOT your "average" trolley bus!
You cannot help but think of a certain famous GREYHOUND bus here, if only a little.....

On a somewhat related note, it would seem that this handsome SPANISH coach was indeed inspired by the SCENICRUISER; however, this bus actually predated the SCENICRUISER by a few years........

......it would be QUITE interesting, to say the least, to see someone take a model SCENICRUISER and mount trolley poles on the roof and retrievers on the rear (talk about a "CLEAN AIR BUS"!!)
"NYO"
(sure is a hoot-and-a-half imagining a PD-4104 or a SILVERSIDES drawing power from overhead wires.....) !! |

I'd love to see that (and happy new year, this has got to be the first new post). |

Steve:
First off, a VERY happy AND healthy New Year to you as well (if a little belated!)
Yes, could you imagine seeing SCENICRUISERS (prototype OR model) "under wire"??
Too, these photos show that there was certainly PLENTY of diversity overseas, back in the day, regarding buses.......
