I wonder how much compition this would bring to Hampton Jitney, Also I wonder where the end point in Riverhead would be.
On a side note, I couldn't get the Newsday link to work. |

Bolt may attract its share of leisure or discretionary riders, but I seriously doubt they will have any impact on the LIRR's regular commuters. |

I just spoke to a Greyhound official on Wednesday about Bolt's expansion onto Long Island, and he clarified it for me. The 'Bolt' liveried buses on Long Island are repainted (or new?) Hampton Luxury Liner buses.
So apparently Bolt's Greyhound/Peter Pan owner's have decided to "franchise" their name and business model out.
I wonder if they will do the same with more independant carrier's across the country? |
