2012 New Flyer XD60 "Xcelsior" Articulated being prepared for MTA New York City Transit. 90 of these articulated buses will be running in the city. 30 will go to Gun Hill, Kingsbridge and 100th Street Depot (or Tuskegee Airmen). 75 of these buses will be delivered with the Cummins ISL9 & Allison WB-500R Gen IV powertrain while the other 15 will be rocking a ZF Ecolife 6AP1700B transmission. bus 1000 is on property.

1000 was renumbered to 4710. it is in revenue service in the Bronx other unit will be delivered in 2013
