This is a nice little story where the change of the clock has failed. It seems the computer system failed to adjust the farebox time for daylight savings, while the subways where on daylight savings time.

From experence with a self adjusting clock I own, this is no surprise since daylight savings has been extended. In the clocks defense, it does not adjust by the atomic clock signal, its in its programing, and adjusts 2 weeks late then 2 weeks early.
