Seen below in a scene from United Artist's 1952 spy thriller 'The Thief' starring Ray Milland is fleet number 1910 - a 1948 GM Model TDH 4507 normally operating for the New York City Omnibus Corporation.

While the exteriors for this film were shot on location around Manhattan, it would be difficult to pinpoint the exact spot (unless you're familiar with that particular lamp post!).

I believe the destination sign to be incorrect as no records show the #4 route going to Harlem - aside from that I was stymied by the appearance of 'Golden Glow' headlamps on a NYCO 4507 - the only ones that I had ever seen were on Surface Transportation's 4507's and the twenty-five that were diverted to Green Line from a Surface order.

The Thief is very much a story that reeks of Alfred Hitchcock theme with Ray Milland playing a wayward Nuclear scientist giving away American secrets to the enemy (presumably, the Soviet Union) - if you've seen Milland's work, you'd know that he was superb at these parts.

Notice that the fare in those days was still a thin dime and that the PSC inspection sticker is placed in the first passenger window instead of the right windshield as per specification.
