Also 256 started out of KB then went to CS then briefly to GH. Now its at MCH dont be surprised if 257 and some others end up there as well. |

I disagree - I've also thought that bus transfers were cool. It's neat to see a bus that spent all or most of its life at one depot or garage suddenly appear in a different part of the city, and it's really neat when a type of bus that was never assigned to a particular depot shows up there. From a bus fan's perspective, I'd love to see Orion V's show up at Flatbush or Baisley Park, for example.

Why not RID ENY of ALL of those damn NovaBUST's RTSes and replace 'em with Strictly Orion 5s from CS and a few others from MaBSTOA?
I'd rather O5s in my backyard....after all, my backyard is actually ENY's Havens Place layover yard.... |

Did 8191 have a working climate control system? Any of the other buses have working climate controls. I saw 8191 today and it did not have a working climate control. |

TJ I'll tell you why LGA is not getting anything-they do NOT take care of it.
9737 has been OOS since MARCH and is still currently at LGA. There are other TMC RTSs that have been OOS for quite some time: 7183 and 9790 come to mind.
The only reason for the transfers is because BP is receiving 1993 TMC RTSs from MHV and as they enter service at BP more 1990 TMC RTSs get transferred out to JFK. Also, BP may be expecting the next delivery of Orion VII HEVs-which would mean more transfers.
Casey Stengel Depot is already up to 6863 and it may be higer. It will not be long before MTA Bus receives more HEVs.
IMO, in order for LGA to get more they got to do more. |

And yet not ONE ex-TA RTS or Orion 5 has seen LGA land at all. (not counting the O5 Suburbans now @ JFK that once saw express service last year @ LGA) since the old 1984-87 GMC/TMC RTS-04s and 06s were brought in back in 2004.
Damn. |
